Orange Moon Monday, October 12, 2026 "The Heart We Trust"

The Special of the Day… From the Orange Moon Cafe…

“The Heart We Trust”

When God speaks from the heart - which He always does - His words abide and apply forevermore.

“The counsel of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations” (Psalm 33:11).

“There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass” (Joshua 21:45).

What abiding, applicable words spoken from the heart of the God who “cannot lie” do we need to remember and affirm in our own hearts today?  Born again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ “live by faith.”  Thus, we must “lay hold on eternal life” by believing the Lord Jesus - who is our eternal life - will be exactly the provision our Father’s heart has declared in His inviolable Word (Titus 1:2; Roman 1:17; I Timothy 6:12; John 17:3).

Of all He had spoken, no word failed or fell,

no promise broken.

All came to pass.

He did not lie, He would not lie, He could not lie

of all He had spoken, no promise broken.

All came to pass.

All will come to pass of the words He has spoken,

Every promise true, none will will be broken.

All will come to pass.  All will come to pass.

We trust a Father so infinitely faithful that “it was impossible for God to lie” (Hebrews 6:18).  Thus, whatever the blessing, challenge, and everyday moment will comprise this day, of this we can be sure: all will come to pass of every letter, syllable, and word God has spoken in the Scriptures.  He will be who He is.  He will do what He does.  Perfectly.  Indeed, if allowed to look back on this life from our Heavenly eternity, this day will be viewed as yet another in the chronicle of a Heart so faithful that not even the slightest hint of falsehood was found therein.  Yes, what promises that will inevitably, invariably, and indisputably come to pass await the embrace of our hearts in confidence and faith in this day?  This we know: we shall not be disappointed by the Heart we trust.  All will come to pass.

“I will worship toward Thy holy temple, and praise Thy name for Thy lovingkindness and for Thy truth: for Thou hast magnified Thy Word above all Thy name.”

(Psalm 138:2)

Weekly Memory Verse

There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.”

 (Joshua 21:45).
