Orange Moon Saturday, September 12, 2026 "Confidence - God's and Our's"

The Special of the Day… From the Orange Moon Cafe…

“Confidence - Gods and Our's”

God is supremely confident in His abilities.

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).

This implies no arrogance in His self perception and awareness, an impossibility in one possessed of such beautiful and unselfish character.  His confidence rather reveals how well He knows who He is and what He can do.  Indeed, He perfectly realizes His ability to supply all His creation requires of His provision in every aspect of its existence.  “Thou openest Thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing” (Psalm 145:16).

This includes your needs and mine, of every mode and measure.  “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).  Our Heavenly Father knows with perfect certainty He can be and do for born again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ whatever we require, in every aspect of our life and being.  We must join Him in such confidence, personally affirming to Him,  “There is nothing too hard for Thee” (Jeremiah 32:17).  God has promised to meet our every need in full assurance that He cannot and will not break His word.  “The Scripture cannot be broken” (John 10:35).  All that awaits is our determination of faith to believe we have cast our hearts and lives upon One so faithful He “cannot lie,” so able that “by Him all things consist, and so self aware He knows such glorious and infinite wonder about Himself.  (Titus 1:2; Colossians 1:17).   “I am the almighty God” (Genesis 17:1).

In essence, faith involves our believing what God knows about Himself, and what He has revealed of such infinite glory and wonder.  His perfectly assured “I am” and “I can do” must become personalized - “You are… You can do.”  True faith begins with the doctrinal and conceptual.  “God is.”  It is never complete until the affirmation becomes the personal expression of our hearts to our Heavenly Father.  “He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).  Yes, true faith involves our response of confidence in the God perfectly self aware, and thus filled with confidence in who He is, and what He can do.  “Nothing too hard for Me” He declares.  “Nothing too hard for Thee,” we respond.

“I AM… He is… Thou art.”

(Exodus 3:14; I Chronicles 16:14; Nehemiah 9:7)

Weekly Memory Verse

Ye are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

 (Romans 8:9)
