Orange Moon Saturday, September 27, 2025 “The Power and the Price” Conclusion - What Measure?

The Special of the Day… From the Orange Moon Cafe…

"The Power and the Price"

Conclusion - What Measure?

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, amen" (Ephesians 3:20-21).

As we conclude this consideration, rejoicing in the"exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think… power that worketh in us," we do well to emphasize the price that makes possible every measure of grace we will know in this day and forevermore.

What sorrows did the Lord Jesus experience on the cross of Calvary that makes possible our joy?

What measure of loss led to our immeasurable gain?

What administration of wrath resulted in our blessedness of complete forgiveness?

What agony of pain purchased our balm of comfort?

What perplexing turmoil bequeathed our "peace that passeth all understanding?"

How does "My God, My God, why has Thou forsaken Me?" grant the Lord Jesus complete liberty to promise the redeemed, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee?"

What brokenness of heart makes possible the infinite measure of a grace-filled heart we will experience for an endless eternity?

What did the aberration of death mean in the heart of the Prince of life, and how does it grace us with the promise, "He that liveth and believeth in Me shall never die?"

We do well to still ourselves at times, and take a breath.  As we do, let us remember than this simplest of provisions can only be granted by our Heavenly Father because  the Lord Jesus paid the price to absolve us of our sins, and assure us of eternally perpetual grace and abundance.   The price.  The price of untold sacrifice, offered by our glorious and wondrous Savior for our next breath, for an eternity of "the unsearchable riches of Christ," and for all things….

"He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things."

(Romans 8:32)

"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

(I Peter 1:18-19)

Weekly Memory Verse

Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end."

(Ephesians 3:20-21)
