47 - Every Gift
Friends: It's been awhile since we sent out a Saturday Song. This one is a new song about a subject dear to our hearts, namely, that the Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again not only to provide forgiveness, newness of life, and eternity with God in His Heaven, but also everything we receive from our Heavenly Father.
"He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things" (Romans 8:32).
Every breath is stained with blood, as it were, the precious blood of the Lord Jesus that made possible God's blessing rather than wrath and judgment. We could literally fall to our knees in every moment to give thanks for the sacrifice that makes possible what this song expresses, namely, "every gift, every breath." We hope you find it encouraging.
