Part 6
Friends: each week this year, usually on Saturday, we are sending the lyrics and a recorded version of one of our songs. This one is actually a musical video, produced in 2011. Today we observe Veteran's Day in the United States, a remembrance and offering of gratitude to those who have served our nation in the Armed Forces. We seek to recall their sacrifices, including the ultimate offering given by so many throughout our history. Of course, this reminds us of "the Captain of our salvation," the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His life on the cross of Calvary to redeem us from our sins (Hebrews 2:10). Thanks to all our veterans, and we thank the Lord for you. Glen
